OPENstudio: Interactive Art Performance - “Erykah’s Phone”

Williams invites all to engage in a participatory performance that neighbors a similar game structure of the youthful pastime "Telephone". The initial dialogue exchange of the performance will be followed up with a collective exploration to reveal a shared ancestral message as a direct result of each participant’s contribution to the performance. Williams’ ultimate aim is for "Erykah’s Phone" to make space for radical transparency and communal reflection while further reintroducing vulnerability as a form of activism in order to advocate for more empathy, inclusion, and social engagement. All ages are welcome.
